Group #74 Sets The Bar High

Adaptive Design is extremely grateful for the tireless energy, wonderful creative talents, and generosity expended by Group #74 of Friends in Action over the past few days. They, not only sanded, painted, and decorated 12 fabulous Caring Chairs™, but also sponsored them for placement at The Metropolitan Community United Methodist Church's communal room that they just renovated, as well as two neighboring Community Life Citizens Care Head Starts in Harlem. Additionally, they distributed ADA flyers to all 5 boroughs and provided transportation for 48 pieces of equipment to a NYC school. The chair sponsorships help fund a portion of that equipment, including reading and writing easels, perches, footrests, and a floor sitter with an activity table. The chairs themselves enliven classrooms and enhance dramatic play. You outdid yourselves Group #74, and we hope you are all getting some sleep now!
