Cardboard Carpentry Continues to Grow

Yet another Cardboard Carpentry grad has taken the skills learned at our 2-day course and used them at work and in the field. Laura Kauffman, an OT who participated in a 2-day course at the end of 2009, has built a max chair and activity tray for her client at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Laura, with the help of Antoinette and Kenia, constructed the max chair to give her client a sense of independence—she wasn't able to sit unaided before receiving the max chair.  We love to see therapists using their cardboard carpentry skills in the field. Laura did a fabulous job with this chair and it looks like her client agrees.
